Q. |
I understand I have to use a network eye care provider. Who provides the vision care services for this plan?
|
|
A. |
SafeGuard contracts with private practice and commercial chain vision care professionals who have agreed to provide care at a reduced fee for our members. By receiving care from these providers, we can ensure you get the best vision care available that is also affordable.

I haven't received my ID card yet, do I need it to receive services? |

What if I move or want to see a vision care professional near my work, can I change vision care providers? |

With this plan, you are not required to "pre-select" a vision care provider when you enroll. You may make an appointment with any SafeGuard contracted vision care professional--just consult our online Directory of Participating Providers by clicking on "Dental & Vision Directories" above.
